Paula Kleven - has worked in the legal field since 1989. Paula has been with the firm since 1992 and has ably served as the firm's Office Administrator and all-purpose back-up. Paula is a local girl who graduated from Battleground High school. She enjoys spending time with her family.
Kelly Snaric - has lived in the Vancouver area most of her life. She has been with Schauermann, Thayer & Jacobs, P.S., since 1998 and is one of two full-time personal injury legal assistants employed by the firm. Kelly is a graduate of the paralegal program at Clark College and has been working as a legal assistant since 1991. She graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Kelly enjoys exercising and movies.
Matthew Smith - is one of two personal injury legal assistants employed by the firm. Matthew joined Schauermann, Thayer & Jacobs in 2004. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Louisiana State University and his Master of Arts in History from Portland State University. A particular academic and personal interest is genealogy which he pursues through his membership in the Oregon Historical Society. Matthew and his wife live in Northeast Portland and enjoy boating and hiking in the region.
Linda Malattia - is the firm's legal secretary and is responsible for getting the work done and out the door! Linda was born and raised in the Northwest. In her spare time, when she is not running to various activities with her four children and new grandson, she and her husband enjoy bowling, hiking, and participating in several half-marathon fund-raising events a year. She also enjoys baking, reading, and loves the theater.
Janet Comer - is the firm's receptionist and has been with Schauermann, Thayer & Jacobs, P.S., since September of 1999. She has worked in the legal field since 1998. Her prior work experience was in banking. Janet relocated to Vancouver in 1990. In her spare time she enjoys reading, travel, movies, and watching the Trailblazers.
Cheryl Monke - is secretary/assistant to the firm's paralegals. Cheryl recently worked as an escrow assistant but has returned to the legal field. Her hobbies include spending time with her three teenage daughters, watching movies with her fiancé, knitting and taking her miniature dachshund on long walks.
